We can supply used and refurbished ISO tank of all types (i.e. Gas Tanks, Chemicals Tanks, Food Grade Tanks). All tanks are tested to the standards and supplied with certification for international use. Tank container may be used for the transportation and storage of chemicals, including flammable liquids, oxidising substances, corrosives and toxins. | Construction and Materials Tank shells are designed in accordance with the ASME VIII Pressure Vessel Design Code. Capacities Capacities rang between 15,000 and 27,000 litres. Heating Certain types of tanks are insulated and fitted with steam or electric heating systems. Maximum working temperature is 110 deg.c with higher temperatures available with specialised tanks Classifications Hazardous class tanks conform to the advisory and mandatory requirements of International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG). It is from this code that the generally accepted tank container classification has been taken, namely; IMO Type 1 Hazardous Tank IMO Type 2 Low Hazardous Tank IMO Type 5 Non- Refrigerated Liquefied Gas IMO Type 7 Refrigerated Liquefied Gas Non hazardous tanks are commonly referred to as Type 0. |
